SCIENCE

1. The unit that we are working on currently in Science is: “Earth Structure”

2. Homework in Science: Look for examples of the Earth System in scenes as you drive or walk. Look for the Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, Biosphere and Geosphere.

3. In class today we labeled the layers of the Earth and described each layer. we saw a video about Earth's Crust.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES

1.  The unit that we are working on currently in E.A. is: “Preparation for the 24 Hour Wilderness Experience"

2. HOMEWORK in Environmental Adventures: 

THIS WAS COLLECTED TODAY:

*Nature Interpretation Homework Activity is due Thursday, 12-15-11. Spend at least one hour outdoors looking for tracks, scat and signs of wildlife. Get a parent signature verifying the time and effort that you put into the project.

3. Today in class we:

*Discussed clothes items and gear needed for the 24 Hour Trip.
