SCIENCE

1. The unit that we are working on currently in Science is: “Water Quality: Focus on Partridge Creek”

2. Homework in Science:  Test coming up on Thursday, 12-8-11...Topics include dissolved oxygen, pH, macroinvertebrates, Kennecott and savethewildup.org  Students should prepare a notecard for the test.

3. In class today: First, we drank water from Partridge Creek after filtering it! We ate watercress from Partridge Creek! We reviewed for the test with "clickers"!

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES

1.  The unit that we are working on currently in E.A. is: “Nature Interpretation"

2. HOMEWORK in Environmental Adventures: Finish Scat Sheet.

3. Today in class, we used rubber scat in the Science Lab! No one vomited but one person was a bit "green"!

4.  Reminder: The next Green Project due date is Wednesday, January 18, 2011.
