SCIENCE

1. The unit that we are working on currently in Science is: “Water Quality: Focus on Partridge Creek”

2. Homework in Science: Study for the QUIZ on Tuesday, 11-22-11. The QUIZ will cover pH Lab Activity, PH Reading Assignment plus the yellow sheet on Kennecott Minerals, the blue sheet on savethewildup.org, and the orange sheet on the recent article that comments on the situation.

4. In class today: We read about the opposing views of environmentalists and Kennecott Eagle Minerals Company. Next, we designed questions based on our reading.

5. We are discussing controversial ideas in Science. It is important to learn the science concepts so that we can fully grasp the arguments that are presented by both sides!

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES
