SCIENCE

Read "Where Land Meets Water" know all the B.M.P.s!

3. Extra Credit assignment: PowerPoint on B.M.P.s is due on Tuesday 10-25-11 if you choose to do it!

4.  In class today, we viewed a video that showed the importance of rivers. We also were introduced to the new single-sort recycling program at Negaunee Middle School.....VERY COOL!

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES

1.  The unit that we are working on currently in E.A. is: “Land Navigation”

2. HOMEWORK in Environmental Adventures: No homework tonight.

3. Today in class we learned more aspects of using a handheld G.P.S. unit.

4. Start looking for small toys that you can bring to school that you can eventually put in a GEOCACHE.

5.  Reminder: The Green Project due date is Wednesday November 2, 2011. There are several excellent presentations in October. Students have a bright orange sheet with several ideas and locations listed.
