SCIENCE

1. The unit that we are working on currently in Science is: The Earth’s Water

2.  HOMEWORK in Science: No homework tonight.

3.  In class today:

    A.  We discussed the homework that was due today, transpiration by trees and plants. 

          Although it has been quite dry nearly all thew plants tested showed that transpiration 

          was releasing water that collected on the plastic.

    B. We started a lab activity that provides insight into the amount of water in six parts of the 

         environment, groundwater, icecaps/glaciers are examples.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES

1.  The unit that we are working on currently in E.A. is: Rock Climbing

2. HOMEWORK in Environmental Adventures: No homework tonight.

3. In class today, we learned belaying techniques at the tree.

4.  Reminder: The Green Project due date is Wednesday November 2, 2011. Plan to attend a 

    presentation and follow through! More info on this assignment is coming soon.
