SCIENCE

1. The Purple Sheet was due today. The two activities were worth 40 points. Many students proved that they did more activities and earned EXTRA POINTS!

2 Today we discussed a "Minerals" PowerPoint

3. Tomorrow we will have the Minerals Lab.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVENTURES

1. Today we used Native American Techniques combined with modern techniques to make fires on the playground (in the snow). Many groups were successful and their "Leave-No-Trace" cleanup was awesome!

2. Tomorrow we cook on portable camp stoves (and clean up!)

3. Students are responsible to bring everything that they need on Wednesday: Fork/Spoons/Pots/Pans /Ramen/Etc.

4. Plan to bring about 1/2 your items from the Gear Sheet on Thursday and the remainder on Friday.

5. PLAN to attend, and then actually attend a Green Project Activity!
